Your character's reputation is a brief (or, in some cases, not-so-brief) explanation of how he or she is viewed by other characters in the game. It serves as a springboard for other players to jump from in interacting with your PC. This description may change as the game progresses and as your character interacts and other characters develop (and spread) opinions about him or her.
