Samantha Coleridge, more commonly known as Sammie, also occasionally known as Joon (by George Byron only)(but not anymore, if he knows what's good for him) is a climber, a paranormal investigator, and absolutely in love. It's anyone's guess which of these three options will kill her first.

[edit] Biography
Only child of loving parents Richard and Emma Coleridge, who have at once doted on her and allowed her immense leeway to direct her own path. They have much to answer for.
[edit] Childhood
Sammie was born in Skaneateles NY, just outside of Syracuse, to Emma and Richard Coleridge, a neo-hippie activist and civil rights lawyer who met at a rally perhaps two years before Sammie's birth. She had as normal a childhood as is possible given her parentage, both parents encouraging her independence and nudging her interests into actual skills and hobbies. She was a climber from day one, toppling a bookshelf perhaps two weeks after she'd figured out that whole crawling thing, and for her fifth birthday, her father took her to a climbing wall at a local gym. It was love at first hoist. She calls her parents by their first names, and loves them above all other things or people in this world.

Sammie was homeschooled until high school, and was accepted as a sophomore into Elwood Dowd Preparatory Academy, a year ahead of her age. It was an adventure into the world of socialization, and she discovered, to her parents' pleasure and her own, that she made friends easily, and flirted even more readily than that. She and George Byron began as a dare, quickly progressed to 'oh hey I actually like you' and segued easily into relative monogamy from there (although she refused to actually Do The Deed till after they graduated.)(They fucked about two hours after they received their diplomas). She excelled in her academics at EDPA and was readily accepted into Meridian College upon graduation.

Sammie's capable of spitting out entire paragraphs without using punctuation or taking a breath. It's possible she has actually mastered, in secret, the art of circular breathing, but she refuses to try playing either a digeridoo or the bagpipes to test the theory.

Sammie has a reputation as a flighty, hyperactive whirlwind with as many hidden depths as the average puddle. She's known to be immediately friendly to anyone and everyone, and will apparently strike up a conversation with a fencepost. There is nothing about sex that is taboo for conversation with her; does that mean she's easy?
