RP:Where to Play
From Literepetition
Literepetion is an RPG intentionally designed to give players multiple options for roleplaying scenes. Whether your usual method is via chat, message board, IM or email, you'll be able to connect and interact. Below is a brief explanation of each avenue open to you in this game:

[edit] LiveJournal
The original and primary method of character interaction is via the character journals on LiveJournal. Each character maintains a separate journal as an academic requirement of attending Meridian College, and some very satisfying and entertaining roleplay has originated through journal entries and the comments made on them. It's perfectly acceptable to roleplay in this manner, either via a first-person IC journal-entry-plus-comments, or through a third-person thread set up to play like a message board forum.
[edit] Instant Messenger
Virtually every player has an Instant Messenger ID of some variety. AIM tends to be the default client simply by virtue of its universal accessibility, and while it does impose a character limit it allows for satisfying real-time roleplay with one or more participants. If the character limit is too restricting, Gtalk(GoogleTalk) is another free IM client that does not impose any such limitations.
- To manage multiple IM clients:
- Trillian Astra
- Digsby
- Meebo <--An in-browser manager, good for use on computers where downloading software is impossible/discouraged.
[edit] MUSH
One of the most popular methods of participating in realtime RP sessions is to make use of the Literepeition MUSH. Instructions for accessing the MUSH are as follows:
- TCP/IP: literepetition.isunlimited.net
- Port: 4140
