RP:Logs
From Literepetition
Anytime you roleplay a scene, we strongly encourage you to keep a log and post it here in the wiki, linking to it in the LJ community. This enables other players to keep abreast of what's going on and potentially incorporate events into their own roleplay, as well as being simply enjoyable, like reading a good story. Furthermore, this ensures that the scene is available for players to check back and ensure solid continuity during gameplay.
[edit] To Post A Log
- Create a new page. There is a field on the main page to do this; just type in the name of the as-yet-uncreated page, using the following format:
- Log:Title of Log
- In the blank editing box, add the following:
{{RP Log
|Title= (Should be the same as the title of log in the page name.)
|Members=
|Rating=
|Location=
|Date=
|Time=
|Summary=
|}}
----
(Log follows here, blah blah.)
- Make sure the log itself is edited to remove any OOC notes or conversation. It should be double spaced between each pose for ease of reading.
- End it with placing it in the category 'Logs'. You'll want to include the title as well, so that the Log index sorts itself properly. To do this, add the following at the bottom:
[[Category:Logs|This Is My Log Title]]
- Post a link to the log on the LJ community. Title the post Log: Title of Log. If you like, include the header information from the wiki page in the post and follow it with the link to the log. Make sure that you tag the post with the name of each participant and 'rp log'.
