From Literepetition
Literepetition, appropriately enough, is the latest in a series of incarnations of a roleplaying game with this particular theme (authors reincarnated together into the present day). It began as a game based entirely on LiveJournal and expanded and evolved from there. From the beginning of its first iteration, interacting via character journals has been an integral part of the game. We're upholding that tradition: it's enjoyable and is an excellent vehicle for introducing characters to each other that might not otherwise meet. So, then:
- Players are required to create a separate in-character journal for each PC they play. It's free and relatively painless.
- Players are required to join the Literepetition LiveJournal Community with each character journal.
- It enables the uniform dissemination of OOC information and moderator notices, and-
- It provides an easily-accessible list of approved characters for players and mods to reference.
- Players are encouraged to make use of the aforementioned character list to friend other character journals with each of their own PC journals. This makes interaction seamless no matter which journal you are logged into.
- Firefox users: there is an add-on for your browser called LJ Login that will enable you to switch multiple character journals easily and rapidly.
- Players are required to maintain reasonable journal activity for each character, defined as one journal post per character journal every two weeks.
Note: Character journals will occasionally be approved to the LJ community before the associated application has received official moderator approval for play. Do not interact with these characters until a moderator has posted their approval to the LJ community.
