[edit] Background

Born in Ávila, Spain, to Spanish parents, but did not live there for long; emigrated with his mother and siblings to Boston and spent the majority of his life there, attending Harvard and only leaving the area to attend King's College for his doctorate, or to visit family in Spain every few years. He became a Harvard professor upon his return from King's College, in the philosophy department, but did not achieve tenure. When he moved out to Bartleby and started at Meridian, however, he became tenure-track and has been tenured for quite a while.

[edit] Roleplaying Tips

  • Aloof, detached, even tending toward cold, yet prone to witty little quips and aphorisms.
  • Despite having no accent and appearing almost entirely assimilated with American academia, will often make a point of how he views American culture as a foreigner, as a European. (He has never actually obtained citizenship.)
